About The Plough
Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Marsh Gibbon, right on the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire border, The Plough Inn is a lovingly restored 17th-century Grade II listed pub and restaurant. Just a quick ten-minute trip from Bicester Village, our newly refurbished space is now ready to welcome everyone!

Oktoberfest!
Come join us for a day of authentic German food and drink. 2pm until late, live Oompah music and more from 4pm. Pretzels and Schnitzels, salad and Wurst.

NEW HEAD CHEF jONATHAN
We are proud to announce that we have appointed Jonathan Richardson as our new Head Chef. He comes with a wealth of skill and experience and will be working his magic in the kitchen to create the freshest and best food for your enjoyment. We are now serving à-la-carte Weds to Saturday, Lunch and Dinner, along with Sunday Lunches, including our famous Roasts.

What's On at the plough
Throughout the year, The Plough hosts a variety of special events to bring our community together and add a bit of fun to your calendar!
From Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations to Easter feasts, midsummer gatherings and our popular drinks festivals and promotions, there’s always something exciting happening here.
We are ready and waiting to hold your own special event, from a table of two for tea right up to use of the whole premises for as long as you like. Wedding receptions, business meetings, car clubs, children’s parties, you name it – we’re here for everyone.

Autumn Menu
From the last week of September we will be offering our new Autumn Menu.
Many delicious new dishes, like the Salmon Mosaic above and seasonal specials using as many local ingredients as possible. Finish your meal with one of our homemade desserts, including Tiramisu and Biscoff Ice Cream. Mmmm!

Introducing Burgundy...
We invite you to take part in our first wine themed dinner. On this occasion, in partnership with Andrew Pavli, owner of Musigny Ltd, we will be offering a selection of Burgundian wines that show how good they can be and that you can still get value from the region if you know where to look.
We will be serving a multi-course meal, with dishes specifically chosen to match each of the wines, of which we will be pouring at least seven, along with Andrew talking through the wines for us while we are tasting.
This will be a friendly, informal event, suitable for everyone – no prior knowledge required!
