The Plough Inn is a 17th century Grade II listed public house and restaurant, situated on the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire border in the picturesque village of Marsh Gibbon, ten minutes from Bicester Village. Following extensive renovation and refurbishment in 2023, we are now open to all.

LATEST NEWS: We are delighted to welcome Head Chef Declan Davidson and his kitchen team to The Plough. You will be able to enjoy their mouth-watering  dishes from the 7th March 2024, featured on completely new menus served at lunch and dinner Wednesdays onwards, including roasts on Sundays. Bookings now available through Mother’s Day and beyond!

Our aim is to provide the warmest of welcomes, the highest quality food and drink and a friendly place to socialise. As a Free House, we are constantly reviewing what we offer, and our goal is to have premium products at great value. You will find a selection of the finest local real ales, plus a focused range of premium lagers, beers, ciders, wines, spirits and liqueurs. We also have a wide choice of low and no alcohol drinks, artisanal teas, coffees and infusions.
